NFL Shuffle
An NFL Licensed game with card battle mechanics
NFL Shuffle is a card-based game that adds new game mechanics representative for the sport of American Football. In a traditional Japanese card battle game, the premise is to build the strongest deck possible to defeat your opponents. This is not unlike traditional collectable card games like Magic: The Gathering. Some core features of the game are the same while others mechanics work especially well in the mobile social gaming market. The core features that revolve around the Deck Management element are PvE (Player vs Environment/Computer), PvP (Player vs Player), and Fusion. The Fusion feature allows for a base card to "consume" a material card. This creates the ability for cards to be recycled in the game. Monetization of the game come from gacha packs - individual card packs with a random drop rate.
In a traditional card battle game, two cards are pitted against one another and the winner is based on the overall stats of the two cards - much like how the card game, War, is played. NFL Shuffle departs from the traditional card battle game with the new battle mechanic implemented. It allows for the player to have greater freedom in deciding the order of cards played with two new mechanics - Swap and Shuffle. The Swap feature switches the players two cards while the Shuffle feature completely changes both team's cards.
